SMS Terms & Messaging Policy
Effective date: July 25, 2026
These terms govern the Best Tort Lawyers / Sofia text messaging program. They supplement our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions. Messages are sent by Best Tort Lawyers, operated by Marketing Apes LLC.

2. How you opt in
Text messages are optional and are never a condition of receiving a free case review.
You opt in by visiting our case review form at besttortlawyers.com/sms-optin, completing your details, and actively checking a box that is unchecked by default. That box reads:
"Yes, text me updates about my case review. I agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Best Tort Lawyers at the mobile number I provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or of receiving a case review. Msg frequency varies (typically 1–3 msgs per inquiry). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions."
If you do not check that box, we will not text you. You may also opt in by replying START, YES, or UNSTOP to a message from us if you previously opted out.
3. Our commitment on your mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use-case categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with, or sold to, any third parties.
Your mobile number and your SMS consent are never sold, rented, or transferred to lead generators. Text messaging consent is collected separately for each sender and is never transferred between businesses. Details about your claim may be shared with a law firm only after you individually confirm you want that firm to contact you — and that confirmation is separate from your SMS consent.

Reply STOP — or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT — to any message. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages. You may also:
- Tell Sofia "stop" or "do not contact me" on any call.
- Email sofia@besttortlawyers.com with "unsubscribe."
Opting out of texts does not withdraw a request already made for a case review; contact us directly if you want your inquiry withdrawn entirely.

7. Carriers and delivery
Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Boost, MetroPCS, and most other US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed. Standard message and data rates apply according to your mobile plan.
8. Changes to your number
If your mobile number changes, is reassigned, or is disconnected, notify us at sofia@besttortlawyers.com so we can update or remove it. We remove reassigned and disconnected numbers from our messaging list as soon as we identify them.
9. Privacy
Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy. Calls and texts with Sofia may be recorded and transcribed for quality, compliance, and follow-up, and Sofia identifies herself as an A.I. on every interaction.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these SMS terms from time to time. The effective date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be posted on this page.
